This is a difficult cycle of the artist that eventually creates a perserverance immersed in a calm, yet strong faith. I now realize that the doubt I had encountered almost constantly while painting these was a gift.
You should do what you ought to do and then learn to love it.
Then and only then can you observe yourself doing it.
